Marques de Caceres Gaudium Gran Vino 1994, Rioja

This is a wine made under the unofficial new classification "Alta Exprecion ".
Which means that the wine is made with an expression of the local "terroir"
1994 is a classic vintage and one of the 5 best in the 18.century.

Grapes: 85% Tempranillo, 15 % Graciano and Garnacha Tinta.
Color: Very dark brown, good depth and medium intensity.
Nose: Intens fruit of Raspberry, Wild Strawberry (very sweet), vanilla oak ( french )spices, tobacco.
Palate: Full bodied, very intens fruit of ripe Rasberry, Strawberry, cherry, some spices, prunes, chocolate, very soft in the mouth, good structure, good balance, powerful finish with tobacco sweet, chocolate, prunes and very good long acidity.
Foodmatch: Soft mature cheeses, Grilled red meat allround.
Cellaring: 0-15 years.

Super wine but it costs alot too, 54 USD in Norway.
