| Color: Dark ruby with some black, good depth and intensity. Nose: First after opening, very strict of shoepolish but this fades quickly, after airtime 1 hour it´s a different wine, very nice aromas of ripe cherry, plum and blackcurrant, green grilled pepper, and some weaker aromas of white pepper, oak, pencil, leather, coffee, toast and vanilla. Palate: Full bodied, rich and concentrated aromas that follows the smell very nicely, refreshing balancing acidity, fine tannins, pleasant medium long finish of acid ripe berries, some oak, vanilla, leather, coffee. Foodmatch: Great allrounder red meats. Cellaring: 0-10 years. I don´t know if it holds up for ten years, but I think this will be fine. Very good value 15 usd. | |
