Nose: Rich of red and dark berries, oak, chocolate, spices, leather, barnyard and some grilled meat aromas.
Palate: Full bodied, rich juicy fruit as above, fine tannins and good acidity, long finish.
Foodmatch: Grilled red meat.
Cellaring: Up to 10 years.
This wine shows that it is very possible to find good wines from the 1997 vintage. | |
