| Producer: Jean-Pierre Moueix Grapes: MERLOT, CABERNET FRANC Color: Very deep dark red black Nose: A little cloesd, aromas of young fruit like mature plum, black cherry, chocolate, cedar, some oak and vanilla, coffee. Palate: Big bodied, full rich of the same mature berries, quite a lot of tannins that needs matureing, good balancing acidity, quite sweet fruit, firm finish with oak, vanilla. Foodmatch: Grilled red meat. Cellaring: 5-20 years. Good wine now, but it really needs many years to balance and to show its peak. Big like many 2003 wines from Bordeaux. | |
