| Grapes: 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot. Handpicked. Color: Red with some brown is showing, good depth and intensity. Nose: Still very young, not any aromas from aging yet, intens consentrated, fruit of red berries, distinct cedar, leather. Palate: Full bodied, silky, oily fruit of the same red berries, if any black currant and young cherry, powerful firm finish of leather. Very good structure and balance. The tannins are distinct but fine and starting to melt. Foodmatch: Allround red meats, grill if you drink it now. Medium mature cheeses. Cellaring: 5-20 years. I would never drink this now, it is a shame to destroy the enjoyment 10-20 years from now. Lives up to it`s expectations in a difficult year. | |
