Vin Jaune 1998, Jura

This is a special wine from Jura, laying 6 years in open barrels developing flor like in Jerez, Spain.

Grapes: 100% SAVAGNIN

Color: Golden straw yellow.

Nose: Complex and very aromatic, some flor, nuts, orange, baked apple, spices.

Palate: Full bodied, big and rich style, very good concentration, distinct of the aromas above, long intens finish. Dry with some sweet mature fruit.

Foodmatch: Tapas, powerful cured meat, mature powerful cheese ( not blue ), rich consomme soups.

Cellaring: 0-6 years, probably more, dont have the references here.

Great allthough a little odd for some people. A curiousety.
