Color: Red with some brown showing, medium depth and good intensity.
Nose: a little neutral, but I find some coffee, flowers, some salty animalistic notes, weak smell of red berries, vanilla, some balsamic wood and earth.
Palate: Medium bodied minus, cold fresh fruit of red berries, mid palate very good, soft and juicy, good acidity, good balance, medium long finish with some earth and dry wood, fresh and medium tannins.
Foodmatch: Pork, veal, poultry, hard yellow cheese not to strong, fat sauces.
Cellaring: 0-2 years.
Good value Bergerac. 7 usd.
