This merlot was crafted by a french wine maker employed by Forgeron Cellars in Walla Walla, Washington, USA.
Color was dark red and with nose of raspberry and blackberries. Lot of fruit.
Palate, dark berries, oak and firm tannins. A hint of anise, leather too.
Long aftertaste.
Approachable now.
