Nose: Intens ripe and a little sour-sweet berries like blackcurrant, plum, blackberry and cherry, some violets, carnations, noble oak, vanilla, spices, leather, sweet tobacco and earth.
Palate: Full bodied, silky soft concentrated fruit as above, very good balance and structure, tannins still young but very smooth and fine, plesant long finish of the same sweet-sour berries, noble oak, spices and leather.
Foodmatch: Allround rich dishes of red and whitemeat, cheese, grill, white fish.
Cellaring: 0-10 years.
