| Color: Red-black with some brown showing, medium depth, good intensity. Nose: Elegant of flowers, fresh acid and sweet forrest berries and cherries, sense of vanilla, mushrooms, a very noble and slightly balsamic wood aroma, raisins and white pepper. Palate: Medium bodied, very juicy smooth fruit of mature acid and sweet forrest berries and cherries, very good fruit concentration, top acidity that really lifts this wine, very good balance, long, fresh and firm finish with the same raisins, medium tannin. Foodmatch: Veal, mushrooms, fat half mature cheeses, poultry, cream sauces, pasta, vinagrettes with balsamico. Cellaring: 0-1 year, drink now. Amazing Barbera from Mexico. If I got this blind, I would guess Piemonte for sure. How is it possible???? 13 usd. | |
