Nose: Mature blackcurrant, some barnyard, very slightly of vanilla, cedar, leather, chocolate, some warm spices, some earth, Palate: Full bodied, rich mature fruit, slightly developed style, good concentration and structure, tannins fine and smooth, very nicely oaked, long smooth finish with some oak. Foodmatch: Lamb and all red meat dishes. Cheese. Cellaring: 0-5 years. Great bargain, a real QPR. Its like a good bordeaux at a very low price. | |
