| Color: dark red-violet-black, deep. Nose: Some pencilsharpening, plum, black cherry, prunes, some wood, licorice, warm vulkanic soil. Palate: Full bodied, slightly oily texture, good conentrated mature berry fruit, good balancing acidity, tannins are there but fined, long fresh leathery, barnyardy finish. Foodmatch: red meat, game, lamb. Cellaring: 0-4 years, great now. Very good wine.  | |
