| Producer: Rocca delle Macie Grapes: Sangiovese Color: Dark red, deep. Nose: Mature red and dark berries, black cherry, black plum, some oak. Palate: Big body, good concentration, good structure, a lot of tannins but maturing, big fruit all the way, long yet firm finish. Foodmatch: Game, rich dishes of red meat, grill. Cellaring: 0-5 years. Very good wine, but expensive.  | |
