| Small producer of very nice Champagne.
Grapes: 80% Pinot Meunier, 20% Chardonnay.
Color: Onion, good intensity.
Nose: Distinct of freshly baked apple cake.
Palate: Medium bodied, very nice mousse, mature apples and applecake here also, good balance and acidity, long fresh finish.
Foodmatch: Aperitif, butter fried fish.
Cellaring: Drink now.
Very good value straight forward Champagne, the blend quite unusuall. | |
