Grapes: Baga with 10% Touriga Nacional.
Color: Dark red showing touch of dark brown., medium depth and intensity.
Nose: truffel, cedar, red currant and black cherry, plum, pine, white pepper, noble oak. Very delicate. Starting to xhow somne dried fruit, and tobacco, leather.
Palate: Medium bodied, very good consentration, fruit as above, elegant, smooth and dry tannins, very good balance and structure. Long fresh finish.
Foodmatch: white and red meats. Game.
Cellaring: 0-20 years.
Very delicate, elegant wine that has more finesse than I thought possible from this grape. Pato is a master. | |
