| Color: Dark ruby, medium depth, good intensity Nose: Ripe sour acid fruit of blackcurrant, plum, cherry, some blackcurrant bush, vanilla, carnations, cedar, noble oak, tobacco, clove and some balsamic aromas. Palate: Full bodied, good concentration of fruit as above, high acidity, young but fine tannins, long finish of acid ripe fruit and some clove, vanilla and oak. Foodmatch: Allround rich and fat dishes of red and white meat. carefull it killed my cheese. Cellaring: 0-10 maybe 20 years. Great wine from México. If blind I would actually guess Baga from Bairrada, or Bordeaux. It reminds me of a wine from Luis Pato. | |
