| 97 % Shiraz 3 % Cabernet Sauvignon Color: Dark red black violet, very deep, good intensity. Nose: Masive and intens aromas of a jammy fruit like plums, chocolate, toast, licorice, eucalyptus, caramel and a lot of oak. Palate: Very big body, masive, great concentration, but the same jammy fruit, very distinct structure with high levels of acidity and tannins, too much alcohol, medium long powerful finish. Foodmatch: If now, heavy grill. Cellaring: 10-30 years. I think this wine is of course very masive, powerful stuff, but very clumsy made, there´s no elegance or finesse, just a lot of everything else. Crazy price. It will improve with aging, but it will never be elegant or worth the price. | |
