| Grapes: 80% Cabernet, 20% Merlot.
Color: Dark red with some brown, meduim depth, and intensity.
Nose: Delicate mature fruit, sultana raisins, tobacco, some spices and oak.
Palate: Medium bodied, quite slim wine (1994), but delicate aromas,and some complexity. Long finish with good acidity.
Foodmatch: delicate dishes of lamb, duck.
Cellaring: Drink now.
Positiv mature wine from a rather medium vintage, but the price is to high, 52 USD in Norway. | |
