| My favorite friend in Mexico, Don Fernando, has teached me about a traditional appetizer from Jalisco called Pico de Gallo. They use fresh fruit and vegetables, an example is orange filets, cucumber, onion, mango all mixed together. Sprinkle chilipowder and fresh limejuice and marinate for a couple of hours. Serve with a good reposado tequila. You wont believe it, but its a perfect match. Provecho | |
