| Color: Dark red-brown, good depth and medium intensity. Nose: Very complex, opening in the glass right away, ripe red and dark berries, ripe cherry, spices like cinnamon and clove, mushrooms, pencil, tobacco, leather, touch of earth, very nicely oaked, touch of vanilla. Nyanced. Palate: Medium bodied+, ripe fruits as above, very elegant and nyanced aromas, very good balance, good structure, tannins fine and smooth, perfect balancing acidity, long complex finish, fruit follows through to the end. Foodmatch: Lamb with consommee-sauce. Cellaring: 0-4 years. Almost fully mature now but I think it will hold 4 more years with perfect storage. Amazing wine at very low price. How the hell they did it???. | |
