| Grapes: 50% CABERNET SAUVIGNON, 35% MERLOT, 15% CABERNET FRANC Color: Brilliant dark red with some violet, good depth. Nose: Very nice fruit of cherry, plum and nyances of prune, cedar, some earth and oak, slight touch of vanilla, some pepper and a touch of carnation flowers. Palate: Full bodied, very nice concentrated maturing fruit, the wine in perfect balance, smooth tannins, yet the wine has perfect structure. Good balancing acidity, and a long delicious finish. Foodmatch: Allround red meat, cheese like Tallegio and firm yellow cheese like Jarlsberg. Cellaring: This will cellar good, allthough its ready to drink. 0-7 years, maybe more. Very good bargain. | |
