Color: dark red with some brown showing, good depth.

Nose: fantastic complex smell of honey, flowers, mature cherry, almonds, barnyard, sweet tobacco, leather, some vanilla and oak. Cool herbs, coffee, mocca, fantastic aromas. Marzipan. Sweet real reduced beef stock.

Palate: Full bodied, good concentration, super soft and mature fruit, mature tannins, very good balance, long finish.

Foodmatch: Veal, red meat dishes with a soft stock sauce, like a lamb and estragon stock. Great with cheese.

Cellaring: Drink now, will not age well. Best now.

Very good wine if you like the soft and developed style..
