| Color: Dark red with some dark brown, good depth. Nose: Complex stuff, Tar, rotten wood, mushrooms, truffle, autumn leaves, dried fruit, some carnation flower, mature black cherries and plum, some wood, coffee, tobacco and leather. Palate: Full bodied, medium mature fruit of black cherry and plum, very good concentration, distinct but fine tannins, good acidity, very good balanced everything, long finish yet firm, with some wood, and the other aromas above. Foodmatch: Game, lamb and other red meat. Cellaring: 0-20 years. This wine is amazing, and will age very well for many years. Just starting to develope. | |
