| Grapes: 65% MERLOT, 25% CABERNET FRANC, 10% CABERNET SAUVIGNON Color: Dark red with some dark brown, deep. Nose: Honey, pencil, chocolate, oak, some earth, some carnation flower, leather, barnyard, coffee, mature black plum going on prune, slightly of shoepolish, All very classic aromas. Palate: Full bodied, fruit of mature plum and prunes, very soft in the mouth, slightly medicinal, fine tannins but still distinct, long but firm finish with a little dry oak and earthy tones. Good balancing acidity. Foodmatch: Lamb, red meat. Cellaring: I would drink it now, I think it lacks a little fruitconcentration, and that they dry will take more over when the fruit fades. Good wine at a reasonable price. 30 usd in Norway | |
