Grapes: Merlot, Fer Servadou, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah.
Color: Dark red, medium depth, good intensity.
Nose: Fur, steel, ripe fruit, spices, grilled green peppers,
Palate: Medium bodied, mellow, good consentration of ripe dark berries, good structure and balance, spices, tobacco, prune, minerals, firm finish. A little rustic.
Foodmatch: Allround red meats. Rustic food.
Cellaring: Drink now.
Super value wine. The first really good wine I have tasted from Gaillac.
