Nose: A lot of aromas, black currant, crowberry, blackberry, pepper, vanilla, raisins, prunes, licorice, chocolate.
Palate: Full bodied, very good concentration, good structure, looooooong finish, great balance in this wine.
Foodmatch: Allround rich dishes, chocolate, nuts, dark berry desserts, cheese.
Cellaring: 0-15 years
Great stuff, much better than 1998. 28 usd.
The wine is unfiltered so you can store it for a long time. | |
