Color: Dark red with some brown showing, medium depth and intensity.
Nose: Open and a little complex too, dried fruit aromas like figs, prunes, some anis, wood and spices.
Palate: Light to medium bodied for a LBV, but good balance and is very pleseant to drink, slightly alcoholic the finish here too.

Much better than the 1997, worth the price.
