Grapes: 90% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot
Color: Red with blue, very deep, good intensity.
Nose: Black cherry, coffee, chocolate, some oak, and warm hair from the Merlot.
Palate: Full bodied, consentrated fruit, black cherry, coffee, chocolate, some spices, elegant oak, long finish. Good balance and structure.
Foodmatch: Red meats allround.
Cellaring: 0-10 years.
Very good wine, high price, 53 USD in Norway , modern style Chianti, not so strict in the structure as classic made 1999. | |
