| Color: Straw yellow, still with some green shining through (strange), good intensity. Nose: Developed aromas, Tropical fruits, mature apple, vanilla, smør, and some toasted oak. Palate: Medium bodied+, soft and oily, very good mature consentrated fruit on the attack that follows through all the curve, butter, vanilla, toasted oak but very nicely oaked, still very fresh, which makes the wine feel in good balance. Foodmatch: Fried and grilled seafood, white meats, cheese, nuts. Cellaring:0-3 years. This wine has been maturing quite slow and is in perfect balance with some lime freshness still, so I think it will be very good in 3 years from now also. Super value and I don`t say that too many times about Australian wines. | |
