Same owners as Chevalier de Rauzan-Gassies (previous TN). This is, I think, the second wine of Croizet-Bages which is a fifth growth.
Nose of sour cherries, oak and pencil.
Taste, a bit closed and neutral. Very little fruit to be that young and from that vintage. Firm acid but no tannins to really give this wine a boost.
Quick finish.
Not a noteworthy wine. I'd rather buy a case of the Chevalier de Rauzan-Gassies 2000.
